I had the chance to fire Real steel Type 56 in China, and AEG as well. You won't be disappointed with a RS as a wall hanger or a gaming gun.

Well, if this isn't a testament to its ruggedness, I don't know what is. Try that with a TM...

I wonder what she'd say after looking at your schlong.

I've seen Ancorp toss his AKM in the snow, have it covered in snow and pick it up and dump a 100rd midcap without dusting off the snow

Agreed. Snow and sand isn't such a big deal as long as too much sand doesn't get into the gearbox. The exploding and driving over it though... Yeah, that's impressive...

I just think they have to actually hold one to understand how nice it is.

By the way, If you like the look of AK and plan to use for indoor game, I would recommend you to use the CYMA AKS-74 U, I had one and put almost 10,000 rounds on the stock and it's still working as charm.

I'm not too too worried about length, for indoors, I'll switch to my sidearm if I end up in a tight spot. But are the stocks interchangeable? I'm going to get the full wood stock version, but can I swap it with a folding metal one if I ever want to?

pusangani February 19th, 2009 12:41

no, the folding metal stock goes on an AKS47 body which would be the RealSword Type 56-1

Crunchmeister February 19th, 2009 12:44

If indoors is a concern, then get the Type 56-1. Same gun, different stock, no bayonet and it's great for indoors.
