The reason I got the CA M14 Match so cheap is because all the trademarks were removed from it and I bought it new off a guy here in BC. After shipping I think it came out to $700 CDN.

Normally outside of Canada, the CA14 is around $100USD cheaper than the TM14.

Ok I just received the M14 today in the mail and I will say that the problem with the battery not fitting in the battery door is correct. It's not to do with size of the door or the battery but the battery door not being properly lined up with the hole the battery is supposed to sit it. All I had to do was take off the buttplate though like Saint suggested and the battery fit perfectly!

Never realized the M14's were such heavy AEGs lol!

What would I need to do to get this M14 running up in the 370-390 fps range?

The Saint June 18th, 2007 23:08

What's it shooting at now?

Drache June 19th, 2007 00:46

stock 320

Prometheus MS110 or Guarder SP110, maybe a bearing spring guide. That's pretty much it.

I dont have to worry about reinforced gears, gearboxes, bushings, etc?

Drache June 20th, 2007 13:26

Well half of the people I talk to are telling me that I new need reinforced gears and metal bushings and such as well.

Ok I've got a quote for $200 plus shipping to get my M14 upgraded to the 400fps range.

I do have a problem though with the BB's going either to the left or right randomly after about 30 feet. Any way to fix this?

Try replacing your hop-up bucking and give your barrel a good cleaning. After this your shots should be straight.

I didn't think I would have to do with with a brand new gun straight from the box but ok. Thanks! :D

CA hop buckings aren't that great, sometimes downright ineffective.

colazel June 27th, 2007 15:35

CAn you tell me what the difference between the CA m14 Match and the CA m14 scout??

The Saint June 27th, 2007 15:38

Besides different looks? The Match has a slightly longer inner barrel.
