Mr.Hitman, what paint did you use the second time? Is it Krylon Camouflage Brown, or something else? That's an awesome shade.
|
It really is awesome.
Well the first paint I coated was a Krylon Fusion 'Satin Almond'. http://images.orgill.com/200x200/4029187.jpg Later sanded everything down to act like a primer. The second coat was a Krylon Fusion 'Satin Khaki'. http://images.orgill.com/200x200/8266835.jpg *The colour of the cap in the picture above is not really the same as in person. |
Looks a lot better altho i would have left the gun all black, but thats just me :p
|
Hmm. Well I'm trying to get a caramel kinda finish.. Kinda brown, but not.
I'll check that paint out though. |
Ronan, yes some people like it black, some like me like 2 toned. :)
Kos, as most fusion paints, they add a bit of gloss into it. Can't seem to find any camoflauge paints by Krylon in Toronto.. Checked at CTs and Walmart. |

do you have any idea how much black sticks out in the desert?
moar den u tink you can leave certain parts black, like sights barrel trigger group, but like i said earlier in the thread, paint the damn receiver. |

do it, then paint the trades black if you want to keep them |
Thanks for the photoshop, but it would just be an opposite to a 2 tone look.

So.. You have a forum full of people telling you it looks bad and how to improve it... Yet you're still asking how to improve it?
2 tone is for ska. Not for guns. http://www.artists2events.co.uk/arti...ack/2Toneb.jpg |
