Then why did you feel the need to include a banana?
because it is both sad and awesome

Hectic February 4th, 2013 16:01

i gotta ask why put a suppresor on an integrally suppresed pistol... i mean its alrdy damn quiet as far as gas pistols go and i know its nearly imposible to find inner barrels for this thing so i doubt u are hidin a barrel in there.
the banna im sure is there for style points lol

Jimski February 4th, 2013 16:17

it's a tracer lol, I play with tracers mostly that's why
I know it's r3tarded to put a silencer on a silenced pistol... :)

Hectic February 4th, 2013 16:38

ahh tracer unit makes sense lol. Now makes me wonder if a doner tracer unit could be squeezed into the oasis silencer. There are a few foam blocks at the front that could be removed

Just swapped out the clear lower for a TM plastic frame. Looking great!

Also yeah. I got bored with my vinyl cutting machine. Doesn't cut the lettering cleanly, will need to adjust settings...

KJW P229 in progress makeover. Just got it back from Imperial Engravers after having deep engraving done. Needs another day of sanding & polishing, but I couldn't wait to see it in one piece . Dave and his crew at Imperial do awesome work, highly recommended!:)

I really like how deep the trademarks are. How much does it cost to do work comparable to that?

The deep CNC engraving was $60.00 for this project. If you need sandblasting done beforehand to remove the old finish, add another $30.00 .

I already posted a picture of my glock in the glock thread but I thought a different picture would be appropriate here.

Just a question, since I see so many P226 with custom external parts or modified appearance: Are airsoft P226 compatible with realsteel parts (grips) and are aftermarket parts readily available? Which P226 maker is compatible and recommended? Of course Marui comes to mind, but what are the other choices?

Just asking. Might consider buying one one day.

The TM P226 (KJW since its a clone of the TM) have frames that are just a hair too wide to fit RS grips. They can fit, but only with modification. That means breaking out the dermal and carefully grinding away material. It can be done, but if you really want to. But it would be easier to buy specific grips made to fit a TM P226.

Now if you are really keen on fitting real grips to a P226. The KSC.KWA will have an easier time fitting, as they are closer to the real dimension of a real P226. However, any grip you buy will not be a drop in fit, and will also require some modification.

This is a very good article that details some of the work you would have to do for a real grip.
