STAR G36, G36K, SL9 & SL8 (*Coming Soon*)
More coming from STAR. Would have been nice to see something new like a TAVOR or a SCAR. Mostly likely polycarboate gearboxes just like the L85s and M249s. It would also seem like all of stars AEGs come in their own carring cases. I do like the G36 and SL8

Very nice looking guns there :3.I'de like to think that SL8 would do justice with a scope :P
|
I like how the first one has the dual optic bridge. I actually want one, any idea when they will be out? I love the cases too.
|
Mmm SL9 as a full AEG droool :kill: . Now I don't have to buy a G36C and the Conversion kit. :)
|
If there's one thing i like about what STAR is doing, is that since their gearboxes have the motor attached to them there is no motor in the pistol grip. Anyone whose held a real assault rifle can tell you the pistol grips are quite abit larger on AEGs. Whereas on the star rifles because they dont have anything in them you can tell by the pics they are thin and probably same size as real steel. Id like to get my hands on a star AEG see how well they work.

That top G36 is amazing... I've never liked the G36... but after that... wow, haha, AK? Enfield? G36? So many choices...
|
That is some good photography.
Oh yah, the guns look nice too. Im loving that SL8/SL9 I cant decide! But one of them will be mine. Grim, How long? |
-_-
Is that G36K handguard the right size this time?
The STAR G36K kit's handguard that is out right now... looks oversized. |
They look well nice indeed
|

2 thubs up ! |
Hey boys guess what arnies says these are only conversion kits. :-?
|
Looks like the SL-8/9 are semi auto only going by the pics, which would be a reason why I would get one.
These guns arn't kits. However, perhaps the article that is on arnies is one that is dated when there was only the STAR kit avaliable ( I guess as these guns havn't been released the kit still is the only thing abvaliable.....) |
on the home page of ASC there is an arnies news thingy its the Lots of interesting bits at the very bottom of the article and i quote
"The guys at StarAirsoft are getting busy again. In their next round of releases they plan on doing the complete G36/SL line. No prices or release dates are known yet though. According to their Japanese pages the release details will be announced soon. It's worth pointing out that they are listed as kits and require a compatible set internal parts (earbox etc). They quote that you should be able to install the needed parts to build the AEG in around 10 minutes. The main complaint about their M249 was that it as too light, so it'll be interesting to see if these kits fair any different." |
burnettkyle: if you actually look at the STARs website, The G36/SL9 lineup has item codes AEG-09 to AEG-12, meaning they are full AEGs. They are not kits, the conversion kits are already out anyways.
|
Ohhh, that SL9 has me drooling... something I wanted years ago.
I sure hope they'll be of decent quality! |
I am still dreaming about SL9's since I started. My dream sniper aeg.
