Is Airsoft Global reliable?

I recently ordered from a place called Airsoft Global and I have inquired about my order several times and received no response, if any of you have used this retailer in the past please give some tips or something?
Thanks:)

Kevin

you aint recieved a response most likely cuz they wont deal with canada

The Saint April 1st, 2008 20:23

Considering there's a good review of AG on ASC, I'd hardly think not dealing with Canada is the issue. Might want to do a little more digging before commenting off-handedly like that, thanks.

bean April 1st, 2008 20:24

I ordered a pile of parts from them they were great.

:banghead: damnit

The Saint April 1st, 2008 20:29

We assume you didn't do something like try to order guns from them, because that's an actual reason why they might not responde. If it's just parts, how many business days have elapsed between your order and now?

M14INATOR April 1st, 2008 20:34

no I didn't order guns I ordered a scope and a silencer it has been 6 days and their qoute is 3-4 days I know im not being very patient
but Im just a bit worried because they seemed like an unkown website
but thanks for your help

HaloSix4 April 1st, 2008 20:36

that could be your problem you ordered a silencer you cant bring them in to Canada.

The Saint April 1st, 2008 20:38

Well, silencer is not that clear cut in the face of the law. Real ones are Prohibited Devices, but fake ones are fake.

HaloSix4 April 1st, 2008 20:40

when i ordered my i got an email from customs saying it was confiscated

You could've tried to argue it and hope you got someone reasonable on the other side. Banning fake silencer is like banning metal tubes, or blowguns. Oh wait, blowguns are illegal. Yeay Canada.

Donster April 1st, 2008 20:47

could someone post a link for that review for AG?

mcguyver April 1st, 2008 20:48

The way I understand the CCC, anything that reduces the report of a firearm is prohibited. Back to the old "Is it a firearm for this section of the CCC?" question.

So, even a pop bottle and some electrical tape are prohibited, if used in this context. Good luck getting convicted of having those though.

vielen danke!

TokyoSeven April 1st, 2008 21:33

I should have someone in the states mail me a pop bottle and electrical tape and mark the box as gun silencer. I just want to see what happens.

purplestairs April 1st, 2008 21:40

Maybe Canada should outlaw sticks too. Someone could pick one up near a forest and hurt someone else. And running, one could trip and shatter their face...

Jesus christ man! Patience! it says 3-4 days but that is business days, and also doesn't count customs and how good/shitty transit is inside your country (Canada Post) .

WalterDekter April 1st, 2008 23:35

My last order was entered on March 11 and received in Calgary on March 21st, even though I paid for 3-4 day Speedpost delivery. I didn't have any 'iffy' items in the box, though.

medhatboy April 2nd, 2008 04:46

The only problem I had with them was the first time I ordered from them they put a lower value on the attached invoice of the stuff I bought and customs got a bit cranky about it. They held it till I got them a proper invoice with the true values of the items, then they released it, they had it for the better part of 3 weeks.

KEVORKIAN April 8th, 2008 01:32

Fastest yet...

I love these guys!!!!!!

Ordered April 4...
Packaged & shipped on the 5th...
Cleared customs on the 6th...
Delivered at 11:30 am (Purolater) to my door on the 7th!

AMAZING!

Items ordered:
- G&P RAS II
- G&G silencer
- PTW cylinders
- Hicapa parts...mags...slides...grips

The customs probably looked around in there

The 3-4 day guarantee is for how long it takes to get to your (our) country. What customs and your own postal service does with it after that is another matter.

Visser April 8th, 2008 11:45

I just placed an order w/ them asking them to ship it in 8 wks cause it was twice as much for the faster shipping. I ended up getting the order in 5 days lol. So I was plenty happy :) haha

Red Tiger April 8th, 2008 11:54

I did place and order with them for a wood kit.

It took 21 days to reach my place, and took them like 14 days to give me a tracking number.

The retailer is reliable, just don't expect ultra fast answer or shipping.

But they have a very good selections of products that no one seems to carry in stock.

Oh. I didn't mean to sound unhappy with the service. I just wanted to point out the discrepancy between their terminology and actual shipping times.

I ordered a SOPMOD stock from them late last Tuesday and it was on my doorstep Friday after work. I was pretty surprised.

Anyway, I've been totally happy with them.

HaloSix4 April 8th, 2008 15:20

so you can order silencers from the states

It's a gamble that don't worth it.

szetor April 30th, 2008 12:52

I ordered and payed on the April 18th,
they told me they received the money but have no record of the order on their database.

I emailed them back my order and they told me 3-4 business days to receive the tracking number.. anyways it is now April 30th, I have sent a couple emails and no responses..

DENZILDON April 30th, 2008 13:46

anybody tried buying mags from them?

Saint_blackhand April 30th, 2008 17:52

AIRSOFTGLOBAL is the awesome, speedy service. Friendly people, and they will give you a discount if you ask. I order from them almost every month for people out here on the west coast! Use them, they are very very good. Also fair prices!

You sure you're sending an email to the right address?

Or....did you send them another email/more emails?

dexcz February 17th, 2009 17:24

I was just asking a question
no 10 months for me yet :)

but I do have a problem with my order from them. I sent them an email, got quick response, sent them my order, pretty much like szetor. It's been only one day, so no problem so far, Im just a bit concerned after reading this thread :(

Cilantro February 17th, 2009 21:50

Love 'em to bits! AG is the best place for obscure CA parts. My only complaint is that shipping costs up the ass.

Shipping from anywhere in Hong Kong, etc is expensive.

bean March 23rd, 2009 22:04

I am not sure as it was awhile ago. Shipping was around 40 dollars I recall. There in Hong Kong I think.

Nifty June 24th, 2009 13:38

They have a strange algorithm for calculation of shipping cost.

For example, If I make an order for one Systema PTW Magazine Follower (very small and lightweight pieces of plastic) shipping cost to Russia via EMS is $47, but shipping cost for 20 pcs. is $72!!!

So in addition to the basic cost of shipping they add some fixed amount for each unit of product, regardless of its weight and dimensions.

safx June 24th, 2009 14:51

Never had any issues with them.

Bought some pricey metal parts
for 1911's 3 times, and they arrived
in no later than 2 weeks each time.

Great comms, and they did some
custom shipping, individual quotes.

I wouldn't hesitate to order from
them again.

resonence February 2nd, 2010 19:37

Shipping rates outrageous!

I've paid some high shipping in the past, for instance from RedWolf Airsoft who I believe are also based in Hong Kong but it was something like $30 shipping for an $100 plus order of couple pistol mags and soft gun cases but Airsoft Global takes the cake. I bought a M16A1 VN style handguard which is not very large or heavy at all and I'm paying $25 shipping. Shipping costs more than the part! I had to remove items from my cart because that part plus just couple plastic mags were going to cost me $45 shipping!!!

This is very frustrating considering when I order from a store such as AirsoftPark they don't charge shipping for anything and I get my order 2 weeks later consistently. I believe airsoftpark are mainland China but still... gimme a break.

I asked them why their shipping is so high and told them that I want to order more but can't justify it with shipping fees like that.

Styrak February 2nd, 2010 20:27

Places like AirsoftPark and EbayBanned include shipping in their prices. So it's no different.

Also places like EbayBanned have horrible customer service. I would rather buy from AirsoftGlobal and pay a bit more.

cerealmaniac February 2nd, 2010 20:45

airsoft global rules. good communication + really quick shipping. It can be costly when you have a small order, but when you order more it evens out. afterall shipping is expensive in HK

Hata February 2nd, 2010 21:42

They are excellent. Zero problem with them

Schlyder February 2nd, 2010 21:48

airsoftglobal is great. I have nothing but good to say. Fast replies to questions, and they will accomodate most requests. They went well beyond great customer service my last order. I will not hesitate to buy from them again. Airsoftglobal are top rated for sure.

DarkAngel February 3rd, 2010 15:58

Phenominal. If they fuck up, they hold themselves accountable and do w/e it take to fix it. So far from all of my dealings, these guys have the best service anywhere.

Rechkalov7 February 8th, 2010 19:53

Hi,

maybe the guy at customer service there fell asleep on your silencer and it could be stucked in his ear ( i've seen that hapend so many times) And from then he can't hear when he receives inbox messages. Ok i think i'll============>:D

Conker February 8th, 2010 20:00

Relatively good prices (some are lower, most are about the same as everywhere else, but some are significantly higher too).

They also have some rare items, but their shipping is goddamn expensive compared to other HK shops I visit.

really? i had a $700 order what weighed about 15 pounds. shipping was only $50-60 with fedex.

Sim123456 February 13th, 2010 06:49

Superb service, bery excellent, the only downside is that it ship with Fedex (maybe you can choose and other courrier). I hate Fedex lol

Schlyder February 13th, 2010 07:24

You can get them to ship HongKong Post. I just recieved my package from them the other day... Through HK Post

scottyfox March 31st, 2010 22:27

Outstanding experience with these guys.
Placed my order Monday night and I shit you not, I received it today by FedEx.
This was the most expensive shipping option but my god, some people take that much time to fly themselves from HK to here.

turok_t April 1st, 2010 00:32

Done many transactions with them and they were great. I emailed them and called them and the manager (Marc) is very pleasant and nice. The only complaint that I have is their shipping cost is a bit excessive.

coach April 1st, 2010 06:57

Re: Is Airsoft Global reliable?

Fedex can take upto a month to mail you your invoice for brokerage and duty. Canada Post might charge you duty but it should only be GST on your declared value and it done COD.

StrikeFreedom May 11th, 2010 14:15

Ultra fast shipping. Placed an order on Sat, it was shipped out on Mon (HK time) and it JUST came to my door. They lowered the invoice value, though tax was unavoidable.

Con Murder May 11th, 2010 15:04

Holy zipline fast batman!

That is really, really rediculose to hear! I am browsing as we speak, and getting a team order in STAT!

Agreed. I called Fedex when I checked the tracking info and realized that the order had been bounced back to a local depot by my on-campus mail services, as they wouldn't pay the duty/brokerage. Turns out Fedex was happy to let me go pick it up and pay for it in person - they held it from being returned to sender for a week or so for me (not that I needed that long, though).

+1. Straight up.

turok_t May 11th, 2010 15:41

I love Airsoft Global.. I know the guy there named Marc and hes really nice.. One time I got a wrong item, he paid for the return shipping and was willing to ship the correct item before I shipped the wrong item.. I also got very competitive prices from them and he beat all the prices out there

johnnyb May 11th, 2010 17:07

I have no problem with them, good service and fast delevery!

DarkAngel May 11th, 2010 17:46

Had no problems till now. Hes holding 600$ of mine and he aint doing shit to correct the problem. Suddenly his comms turn piss poor. Fucking Douche. Mastercard is now getting involved.

Styrak May 11th, 2010 19:44

AirsoftGlobal is amazing.

I ordered some parts late Friday night (almost Saturday by then), and received them on Monday.

Ancientblonde September 20th, 2010 22:08

Can you get guns from them, or will they be seized at the border? And if they do get seized at the border can you get them if you prove they are airsoft guns? And sorry for bumping this.

its called a search button, and the faq's

YOU CANNOT IMPORT AIRSOFT GUNS FROM OUTSIDE CANADA THEY WILL BE SIEZED

to prove they are airsoft guns and not replicas takes alot of time in which your gun may be incinerated anyways

Ancientblonde September 20th, 2010 22:17

I lol at how airsoft guns purchased in canada dont have to have an orange tip, but airsoft guns purchased outside of canada will be seized and destroyed at the border unless you have certain licences.

Strelok September 20th, 2010 22:23

I lol at your ignorance.

Read the faq and figure out why things are like that.

Lets see, oh!

Airsoft guns generally are prohibited from import. But there are many legally imported to purchase from. Besides, you're not saving any money whatsoever by trying to import them yourself. There are many fees topping on the cost.

I know, but it is just weird, like you can import if you have your firearm licence, and you can prove it, but if you cant prove it is an airsoft gun in a certain ammount of time, they will destroy it?

read the faq's and the numerous threads about this subject

they will destroy it after they send you a letter that you tried importing a prohibited item and then put you on the black list where everything you import will be opened and scrutinized
