so as you can see it has Wi-fi, 3d relief vision and incorporated bulletproof protective babygro, plus of course the ever-useful 4 bullets.

grrr I'm gonna bayonet you with my ah crap I forgot to mount a bayonet

the mask is definitely most terrifying. 1959.

Looks like something you'd wear whilst waiting for that nuke on the tower a couple of miles across the desert from you to go off.

It reminds me of the fallout 3 cover.

It's even better with the description :)...

The QM never gave me my metascope & my jump belt...

Yet some similar things are used by today's armies. The body armor is more evolved, the IR goggles are widely used, they even use M14's. Though I think the jump belt is still a few years in the making! LoL

FOX_111 January 15th, 2010 07:24

Image metascope: Whatever that thing those, I want one.

Jimski January 15th, 2010 07:27

but why the rubber gloves? maybe for anal metascoping of cows?

Mr. G36! January 15th, 2010 07:36

Of everything to love about what we've just just seen, I think the random streaks of neon paint on the M14 take the cake. I'll bet it even fires Rocky Horror Picture Show laser beams!

PaCHeKo! January 15th, 2010 11:46

The mask reminds me of :

Anyways, screw that SEAL loadout I'm working on... I'll go for the "Soldier of Tomorrow" loadout! Weeeeee!

CARL January 15th, 2010 11:51

I'm sold on the explosive fox hole diggers, as long as they already know where I am it's all good, not for any SF missions though...lol..

1st gen IR scope... I had one very similar .. Active IR illuminator good out to MAYBE 50m

Mostly used for close in work with light discipline - I used to use mine in Defensive ops setting booby traps and trips .. They were most often seen used by engineers

Blackthorne January 15th, 2010 12:37

Should have kept the fucking M-14.

The Saint January 15th, 2010 12:38

Them 4 random bullets are colour tipped, are they tracers? Green and red for designating different types of targets. Like a crude precursor to PEQs and friends?

+1
Definitely more than enough room for both M16/4 and M14.

I think it's part of the random-fluo-touches colour scheme.

Where they called like that for real?

SHÖCK January 15th, 2010 22:08

Believe it or not, this is what the jump belt looked like before the amazing miniaturizing technologies of 1959!
