Peltor Comtac II
 

Hey guys, Ive been looking around for a set of peltor comtacs and i was wondering if any one knew of a good site to buy from? Any info would be appreciated!

Ebay. I got mine's (Comtac II with PTT and come with the bag) brand new for 300 bucks 2 year's later.

There are a few floating around the classifieds too.

Anyone know if the Peltor Comtac II rail adapters will fit onto the Huangs Replica Fast's ?

Or if the Peltore Comtac II adapters will work with the Replica Peltors by element I think?

Technically the rail adapters are for the Comtac III headset. Although 3M says that they will not work with the Comtac II, I know of several people who have made them work with them (not myself personally.)

Also, the rail adapters will fit any of the Ops-Core/Arc style rails.

I can assure you the ComtacII's will work with both Huang's Ops-Core rails and Peltors mounting bracket.

Where are you getting the Comtac rail adapters?

I contacted 3M/peltor direct and got mine for $35.00 plus shipping. I can't believe the prices on eBay...it's disgusting!!!!

Since were on the discussion of comtacs. I bought a set for shooting on a great fire sale without the wiring, and I don't really feel like dropping another chunk of change on a real mic and wiring harness. Does anyone know if replica mics work with real comtacs?

Yes they do, but won't work with military radios, just the civilian UHF/VHF radios unless you buy a 999999,99$ PTT.
