Madbull Assassin question

Hey all,

quick question to those who have a madbull assassin kit for WE 1911's and M9's.
the barrel on the 1911's (not sure about the m9s) have the internal thread.

i know the kit comes with a threaded barrel, but is it a internal theaded barrel (like the stock one) with a thread adapter?

also, how are the kits, does it add to the effective range a lot, or just up the FPS?

thanks

Well i have the Madbull Barrel Assassins kit for my M9 and yes it came with an internally threaded outer barrel along with a 14mm CCW adapter, im almost certain the 1911 model comes with that too :)

Like everything WE makes it's hit or miss. I had one where the threaded tip was threaded at an angle, so anything I attached to it was crooked. I've heard of others just having their threaded attachments shatter under small impacts.

It's internally threaded, so the adaptor can be removed if you like.
You are going to get crazy fps with this, a customer clocked in at 425 fps after installing it and playing with the hop-up unit. 390-400 seems to be the norm though

oh, another question....
airsoft parts says to you a 120mm silencer, but i can only seam to find 110mm.... will they work, or does it have to be 120?

thanks again

Armen000 March 1st, 2012 00:34

u can use a 110 but the inner barrel will stick out of the silencer slightly, i used a 150mm silencer and it worked well :)

bareass March 1st, 2012 00:41

have you tried 110?
i was thinking (hoping) that madbull just said 120mm to help sell thier silencers
150 is a bit long for a pistol.... imo

Armen000 March 1st, 2012 00:42

like i said, the inner barrel will stick out of the silencer, between 8-10mm.

awesome... thanks for the info
now just need to find a 120mm silencer
