Any chances to see the pics? Are you trying to make it out of 1911?
P.S. The gun is really unique and distinctive. |
Well, When it will be completed in 100% (now is 95). This is prototype so I took one 1911 GBB from ... It is obvious that customizing of similar but anyway different guns is not an easy task. The differences at some points are as big as 1 cm. But this is first attempt.

Well, Now the third in series is coming. This time from limited of 130-140 pieces preliminary series. These pistols features a distinct rear shape of the slide and hammer and they are lacking of the de-cocking lever.
This one replica is half-way. Technically - the customization= shortening the slide, adjustement of the slide shape (top, sides, shell ejection window, front and rear sights, redesign of the recoil spring housing/barrel bushing and recoil spring assy), adjustement of frame (the angle of grip, the angle of magazine, grip safety, rear part of the frame), adjustements of grip plate's location, etching of markings (Yes, the markings on originals were etched, not stamped or rollstamped), barrel (outher - shortening and reshaping of the second locking lug, inner - shortening to fit to the outher one). Just couple of ten's of hours :) |
Looks very good. You're putting much effort into this. Nicely done!
