WE glock holster question
 

I want to purchase a WE glock but I'm still thinking whether or not to risk buying the Crye Precision gun clip type holster.
It'd be great if someone who's owned one of these holsters before could tell me whether they fit or not.

Do these holsters fit the WE glock 17/18c ??

I also heard that the WE glock 17/18c are made to glock 21 dimensions, so i'd also like to ask if anyone knows if glock 21s will fit in this gun clip type holster.

So if the we 17/18c is made the diemension to a glock 21, then what is the glock 21 made dimension to? Hint, hint, it is a full size glock

WE/TM glocks are off spec from real steel so you can't use real steel holsters. If you want a holster, chinese made clone holsters will fit.

What? The 21 is bigger than the 17/18 series due to the .45 round it uses AFAIK... so it may work out, unlikely as it is.

TM Glocks 17/18 will fit in RS holsters.
Glock 17, Glock 18, Glock 22 are all the same frame and dimensions.

Glock 21 is not.

A Glock 17 and Glock 18 are both 9mm. A Glock 22 is .40.
A Glock 21 is .45.

In conclusion, if a WE Glock 18 is compatible with a TM Glock 18, then it will fit.

Yeah tm based glocks will fit rs holsters they're just gonna be a little tight.

The WE glock I had would not fit into my uncle mikes kydex or a gcode.

The slide is too wide. I couldn't even adjust either holster wide enough to accomodate.

I also read somewhere that people had no problems using a holster made for a Glock 21.

Have you try to put the holster in the oven ? Not too much, just like 10minutes at 200. Maybe it will help remold the kydex

why mess with a nice holster just to fit a WE pistol in it? lol just get a cheap replica holster for the proper gun, its a cheap gun anyways, i wouldnt ruin any nice gear just to make it fit in

Cheap holster are cheap... Retention system on them sucks. I don't consider that ruining a nice piece of gear, because it was first bought to fit my airsoft pistol. I had a replica safariland and a replica serpa. The safariland broke during the first game and the serpa wasn't functioning well.
So I have buy a real deal safariland 6304, but even with the loose screw, the pistol was almost impossible to pull out. So I put it just moment in the oven and reheat certain spot with an hairdryer. Now it work like a charm

No. WE Glock 17/18c are NOT made to Glock 21 dimensions.
WE Glock 17/18c will fit into a Serpa holster for real Glock 21, because both WE G17/18 and real G21 are wider on the slide than real Glock 17.
WE Glock 17/18c is actually slightly thinner on the slide than real G21 but that won't be a problem on the G21 Serpa holster.
All other WE Glocks except WE G26/27 have same slide thickness as WE G17/18.
I run all of my Glocks on Serpa G21 holsters so this is from my own experience, not something I hear.
I can't speak for other G21 holsters such as Safariland.

I don't have a Chinese copy Serpa Glock holster so I don't know how that will fit. If it being too tight and don't fit, you should be able to heat it and stretch it to fit as I tried that on other copy Serpa holsters. The result is acceptable but not great.

The CP gun clip holster is a different story. The copy one won't fit WE Glock. You can't heat and stretch it, but you can file it to remove material to make a WE Glock fit. Tried on a copy one, again the result is acceptable but not great. I felt I like the Serpa better. The CP gun clip is good if you want to attach a light on the glock and holster it.

I run a G21 Serpa Holster for both my WE G17/G18/TM Glocks

That Crye holster will fit as well but who really wants to use that piece of junk anyways. I ended up using a replica of that holster and its a pain to use because re holstering the gun took far too long compared to my Serpa.

Stick with a Serpa if you ask me.
