G&P LiPo battery 20c or 30c?
Hi,
I received today my G&P Lipo Battery code GP863B. If you check the link below you will see that the GP863B is a Lipo battery 1200mAh 20c 7.4v. http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=2132 http://www.gp-web.com/en/photo/gp863bn.jpg However, I received a battery with 30c?!?!?!?! See the picture: http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps655d901e.jpg I have two questions: First, is the packaging label wrong? or is the battery label wrong? Is this a 20c or a 30c battery? Second, if this battery is a 30c, will it be ok to use it with my G&P MOE AEG? I wanted a 20c, but now I got what it seems to be a 30c! |
Check the sizing for fitment. But a 30C is better then a 20C , as the discharge rate is better.
You got the fat end of the stick! ;) |
You can safely use a 90C battery in your G&P
And G&P does that often, updating their battery line without retailers updating their info. |
Thanks guys for the information. ;) Now I'm glad with my 30C. :D

Hey Parafal and everyone who was nice enough to help him,
I just stumbled upon this thread because I had the exact same thing happen to me. I ordered a G&P LiPo battery (because i just ordered an new MOE stock for my G&P Zombie Killer) and needed another battery. Like Parafal I was reluctant to get a LiPo battery because i didn't want to damage my gun. It was suggested I get a 20c Lipo battery, which i did, however upon getting it i received the exact same one Parafal got (i'm actually running a 1000 mAh LiPo). That being said I was really happy to find this thread because I didn't know what I should do. |
