Anyone else longing for a shift to real cap mags?
Some of these midcaps now, are nearing the 200rd mark. Am I alone in stating that it takes alot of the realistic fun value out of the game?
I think the low ammo, and the conserving of ammo adds a huge effect to the game. I understand I can go with real cap mags, its just... well... being pinned down and having a constant barrage of BBs pinging around you like everyone has a LMG takes the realism out of the game. It becomes less tactical, more spray and pray... feels like speedball... Am I alone here? |

1 BB does not equal 1 bullet.

but I think I would rather give that up and get closer to a target in exchange for the faults that BBs have.... Just a personal opinion... I dont think one way or the other is right, just curious if anyone else feels the same way |
Most games in the Montréal area are real cap only now. You can bring your midcaps, you just have to fill them to the real gun capacity plus 3 or 4 to compensate for the loss in the feed tube.
It's a simple rule to enforce, no one needs to buy new mags, and it makes the games way way way better. We also usually enforce a 240 to 300 BBs maximum carry capacity (including your secondary and backup weapons). People with LMGs can carry up to 800 in 200 BBs bags to refill their mag. |
How is it "simple to enforce"? What about people just loading them up with their full capacity of 100 or 150?

If you are really paranoid or tend to play with bad players, you can do random magazines checks. Empty it in your hand, if there's too many BBs ban that player. |
