Barrel affecting velocity on aeg
 

I was having a convorsation with a friend in regards to wether or not the items that affect velocity are the spring/gearbox or if the barrel length affects the velocity as well.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

If additional info helps he has an ares g36

As regards to the barrel length as you increase the length you will need to bore up your piston so there will be enough air to keep pushing the bb until the end of the barrel.

What does affect velocity is the diameter of the barrel for example a 6.05mm barrel which shoot at a slightly lower fps than a 6.01mm inner barrel.
