Need Some Help

Hi,

I am new to this forum and to Airsoft and hope I am posting in the right section.

I have been reading alot about it and decided to try it myself.
Unfortunatly I live in Montreal/Quebec, so there is no place for this game here. Still, I decided to go and shop on the internet for a good gun. I never played but it doesn't mean I want a cheap crappy gun.

I've been looking around for the ICS MP5 A4. From the reviews it looks neat, reliable and good for beginners.

Basicaly, I would like to know of what you are thinking of it and where would be the best/cheapest place to buy one. Also, keep in mind that I am new to it.. so I would need batteries, charger and of course BB's. (as well as helmet and all..).

Thanks for your help.

There are various places from which you can purchase guns and gear...if you look on you top toolbar you will find them. You are only 17 though so you would have to get a parent to purchase the gun for you.

I checked them all.
Found some good prices on http://www.specarms.com/main.php and http://www.doubleedgeairsoft.com/pro...?type=2#ICS-04.

But could use some more profesionnal help, to know where I must put my trust & money on.

Also for the age, I will be 18 next weed-end, so don't worry.

An early happy b-day to you, welcome to the game!

The AirsoftCanada Store (run by Tru, aka Trumart) has an ICS MP5A5 and a TM MP5A4 - BUT, Tru is also able to put a solid stock on the A5 to make it an A4.

I bought an ICS MP5 SD3 from him last month, which he added a solid stock to as well (to make it an SD2). The gun is working great and I deal exclusively with Tru for everything I get as he ships fast, has reasonable prices, and can usually get anything you need in a decent amount of time.

PLUS - shopping with him also supports this site in a round about way.

first you should come to a game and watch. most of us will let you try our guns out so you can get a feel for what you want. also, RED TIGER rents his guns out for a very reasonable price so you can actually play a game with us as well. we just played tonight at Action Commando.

as for you thinking about ICS, i would suggest that maybe for your first gun you pick up a TM like i did. the brand is renound for its reliability and solid internals.

i am surprised no has said TM is better then ICS yet.

I'm surprised you found nothing, or nobody, around Montreal. It's one of the most active airsoft areas in Canada. Check this website a bit more...

I mostly searched on the internet. And when I begun this site was offline. Still reading about it but most stores are outside of quebec too...

Thanks for the help so far.
