cadpat?

looking at investing in new gear
played my first game saturday 17th and sunday 18th
found it interesting but all black carrying a saw was hot
i'm thinking about hanging up the SWAT gear to use for indoor games where its required and get cadpat or whatever its called to use outdoor
question:
cadpat pants and shirt
vest......whats the best match?
thinking keeping same helmet as black one but color matched
forest green?
is acu digital for vest a proper match for cadpat?

I wouldnt suggest ACU. OD or coyote brown would be your best bet. Depends on the terrain you play in.

basically wooded
if all goes as planned, i'll be in many more games
thinking getting proper gear matching the firearms i'll be using
next game will be cqb
what i have now(1st gear setup) is SWAT
for my second gear setup, i'm seriously looking at going cadpat shirt/pants
but vest etc, i'm uncertain to
i'm presuming cadpat is modern, so i'd be using an M4?
3rd gear, i'm thinking soviet with AK47 or AK105

Cadpat and ACU (UCP) are both very in-versatile camo patterns and because of this are both being replaced for deployment. Consider marpat or AOR-2 if you want a digitized woodland pattern. Multicam is also a gear pattern that works almost anywhere.

Fresh out of the box, Cadpat is pretty dark for some areas, but as I learned this last weekend, slightly faded Cadpat work exceptionally well even in a fairly arid setting

Convinced me to get a set as.

I also second Multicam

UCP is a pretty junky pattern for most terrain... there is a reason it was replaced. The fact that it was even put into service is appalling.

marpat is ridiculously good... especially in the fall. multicam works well unless you have mostly green, then there's not enough green in MC. It works where there's lots of sunlight and golden tones, it works decent in heavy woods.

ATACS FG and AU are nice patterns too.

A lot of the multi use patterns are confusing though, they look both green and tan so some game organizers want to limit their use due to players not being able to identify teammates vs opfor.
