Hey guys. Just wondering if you guys have an opinion on this gun and if it's a good buy.

It's not a good buy because there are better G36C's out there for a better or similar cost. S&T products are generally garbage. If you want the extending stock really badly, you can find them separately.

I'm looking for g36k or mg36. Which brand would you recommend in the price range of 400 to 500?

Not a G36C? I would recommend the G&G.
