TM MP5 history

That is one topic of interest which I want to find out more. Apparently the MP5 i got in form of a garbage bag and in separate pieces turned out to be a very old TM MP5. I was told they are rare to come by hand hard to break specially the GEN1 (which looks to be what I got).

where can I find more info on this?

Dunno about export/ import specifics, but in general I'd say that it's a prize to be reassembled and hung on the wall.

Getting it in running order would be great for maximum Nerd Cred, but I would personally build for Japanese fps specs. Current spring loads (and even the very act of skirmishing) will shorten its lifespan drastically even if every game is accident free.

I'm very much in the "Run it into the ground" and "Tools are meant to be used" camps, but damn. That's a piece of Canadian Airsoft History you've got there, even if you're the only guy in 500km who cares about it.

TM AEGs aren't really that good.
