Smoke Grenades
 

Just wondering if anybody out there uses smoke grenades and could provide some info on where to get some decent ones. To be more specific, has anybody used these smoke grenades?

Pretty much I'd like one that I could throw and not have it catch stuff on fire, and also possibly use indoors but not smell aweful and stain the walls. Any info appreciated.

Those are Hands manufacture and are known for starting fires. Smoke output is less than stellar, especially for the price you pay. All Manitoba fields have banned their use due to the fire hazard.

I heard there's a sales post in Parts & Accessories where some dude can get you the hook-up with all kinds of awesome smokes and pyro and stuff! :)

tried a kaboom one...needs to be sitting on hard flat surface or is a fire hazard...sorry..i got excited when i saw them there too

I did carry the hands ones, however it required pickup and the sales rep at Hands told me some new regulation where going to be coming into effect so I couoldn't get them at the Milton Warehouse. For the price, lets say I never made a profit.

Ha, I thought so. I had previously e-mailed and asked if they were safe to be thrown in the bush and they said it's fine, but I still had my suspicions. Thanks for the clear up.

They are the Best and they are very effective and easy to use.

here i buy like 1 kilo of this smokepouder and bild the smokegranades myself...
so i can build bid ones and small ones...
let say just the right size for the right place... :wink:
the pouder is very effectiv, the smokeemmision is huuuuuge, the smoke doesnt smell ugly,
and the best thing is: it is very cheap :) like 20$ for one kilogram

the only thing you need is a "fire-wire" and a toiletpaper roll, matchstickbox, or something like that :wink:

Generally no. It would be regulated as a theatrical effect and you'd need a pyrotechnics special effects license to purchase and use it.

OMG... here you dont need anything like that... i guess... well i dont have any licence but i do it :)
