Be careful

Was browsing E-Bay and I saw this

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Smoke-Grenades-Bo...QQcmdZViewItem

Hmm, Smoke grenades for 5.00 and free shipping?!? then I read the auction, its LIST of vendors.

Thinking to myself "who would buy this?" It dawned on me how many times I have impusivly clicked the buy-it-now button when I needed something in a hurry..

Someone bought 10! (Click on purchases)

Well if you are a smart person, you should be able to take the time and read everything over at least 3 or 4 times and see that it clearly says in big letteres "This is for a word document [...]"

But I see how people get excited and dont even look then get sent empty ps3 and xbox360 boxes.

Mapcinq February 23rd, 2007 15:57

I dont blame you, It took me damn near 10 mins to understand that sale. One wouldnt expect it to be a list of vendors. Mayb I'm just retarded though....

Eh? I didn't order it. I'm just pointing it out. Clever advertising, but if you're in a hurry, don't get caught. :D

I think this part threw him off, as it did me.

rgr, edited for clarity. :)

Dirty Deeds February 24th, 2007 07:51

I've seen people bid up to around $400 for a box. The box did at one time house a $500 video camera, and the way the auction was written was missleading, but clear, that you were bidding on just the box.

Galahad February 24th, 2007 08:26

lol, noobs, the third line of the ad says "This is for a word document"

Razcal February 24th, 2007 08:45

baraccuda February 24th, 2007 08:48

All of those military-style grenades are restricted in Canada anyways. Unless you're LE, military, or a CGD-registered business, possessing them is very illegal.
