my friend told me that using green gas for my beretta m92f wasnt good and that i should use duster instead......is it true?! green gas is to strong for a plastic gun?

I use propane in my TM P226 and it works excellent... dont bother spending for green gas, just get a Propane adaptor and lt wt oil from AI and your good to go. TM are arguably the best GBB's out there in quality and perfomance. Close second id say are KSC Glocks, I own one of each :)

TM guns is a bet. some run green gas/propane on TM guns for years and they are still shooting great without modifications. Some run green gas/propane and their slide breaks in a few months to a year. all the GBBs i owned in the past i used with green gas even in its stock form and its still running fine.

I used a Tm 92F on Propane all last year and never had a problem with it. The gun worked flawlessly and never once had any issues on propane even in the dead of summer. That's my experience but that's not to say nothing will happen i.e cracked slide etc.

The best way to run on propane, without fear of an eventual breakdown, would be to upgrade to a metal slide.

Your gun will run fine on propane as it is, it will just wear down faster, and there is no reliable data on life expectacy of gas gun using a stronger gas, only anecdotal evidence.

Ran about 100 rounds through my TM deagle hardkick on propane, no issues. But on my Ksc glock18 ran fire on semi, but the first mag I ran through on auto the slider cracked and came off and shot the spring half way across the room, albeit I have to admit I think the shop keeper sold me a bum gun, even though he claimed it was new in box, but it looked used and was probly a return. But over all Ive never had an issues with running any TMs on green gas, but well most of the TMs Ive used are fairly new and well that slider on a DE is fairly thick. Never had an issue with a KJW though.
