goggle question

hey I saw a nice pair of goggles that I wanted to pick up but wasn't sure if they would be acceptable to game with since places such as flag raiders requires you to use paintball approved goggles.

ESS Striker Series™ Land Ops™ Goggle
http://www.uscav.com/Productinfo.asp...ID=1&CatID=450

based on what I am to understand from the description given it seems that the goggles are resistant (not bullet proof) to an impact from a .22 so I'm pretty sure that would pack more energy than even the most hardest hitting paintball marker. But I’m no expert so which is why I am asking before buying. And also before the inevitable happens.
Yes I am indeed 17... Yes I know that for the most part I cannot participate in airsoft until I am 18+ and I don't need to have that knowledge regurgitated to me.

Thanks in advance

Doesn't matter what the goggles say. If they're not paintball goggles (by name) they won't be accepted.

They're good goggles tho. Go with the Profile NVG's if you have the option as they have a lower...well, profile.

you dont really need anything expenxie just go to the cambridge surplus and get the cheapes full face cover and just cut out the goggles

i remember there was this US tank gunner who's tank got hit by an RPG, shell fragments everywhere inside the tank, but his goggles saves his eyes.
And for the record, sometimes paintball approved goggles aren't paintball approved

Yeah his story was on the ESS main page. I think it still is. Get some ESS's and see if you can put them into a paint ball mask.
