LEE ENFIELDS

Hi guys

I was looking around WGC shop and other sites and
couldn't find any lee enfields.Everyone is doing either
americans or germans, but no british or canadians.
So I thought I would give it a try for WWII setting.

Thanks

Is this a general comment bemoaning the lack of said enfields, or are you planning on producing a kit from scratch?

I do detect the moaning and a hidden question of "Do the even exist".

Well my searching has lead me on the forum, to real rifles and a
to the UK.Isn't the UK not importing or exporting airsoft??.
I think I read that some where. As for making one?,I would
have to use a k98 as a base with lee enfield wood parts.
That is a bigger project then I want right now.

Patience is invaluable in canadian airsoft.... nothing is fast, especially when you want something specially imported, expect 1 month minimum

I have Two real lee enfields I can use to copy from,
the jungle carbine and the sporterized one. But no
full wood No.4 MkI .

I believe KTW used to make one for a huge pricetag.

Donster November 24th, 2007 17:42

they wouldn't be hard to make. i just dont think there is enough demand for them or else we would have seen them more readily available. i can easily see tanaka doing one with a detachable 10 round gas-filled mag and of course marushin would always make their 8mm version.

Sergeantmajor November 24th, 2007 17:46

you can always use a Garand. they were used by canadians and british in limited numbers. but we had 'em.

Double Tapper November 24th, 2007 17:49

I am trying to stay as close to standard issue as possible.

Just convert one of your real steels if you are willing to and you have the know how.

Goodl2ussian November 24th, 2007 20:48

And a canadian invented the garand :D.

Double Tapper November 24th, 2007 20:53

I was thinking maybe the M1 jungle carbine with a shorter mag and trimed stock,
some close to enfield bolt action rifle inserted.

That is not legal.

And as much as I would also like a Lee Enfield in Airsoft, I will have to wait until someone can legally build it and market it.
