What's wrong with Dboys? The QC is obviously a little lower but from what I've heard they seem to function fine. They sometimes don't fit perfectly inside some bodies but with some modification can do the job.

Looks like metal to me. Although Im not the retailer selling it, if your not sure contact them dont ask here.

However in this one instance the mechbox is metal.
However a red flag that I see is plastic/nylon bushings. Those will degrade over time if there is a very strong spring in there, and if there isnt and you intent to put a stronger spring in, I would replace those with metal bushings.

Someone on here said those 7mm mechboxes were crap, Im not sure who said it though, but someone did. I cannot recall specific circumstances either. Oh well, buy at your own risk.

i dunno why the hell they put that huge fuse right on the end of it like that. i had to do some modding to the cover part with the bolt assembly for the metal cover to be able to fit.
but yea it does shoot very nice and powerful. its sposed to shoot at 390 to 410 fps. its brand new so for how long it stays working nice i have no idea. was a little pissed about those nylon bushings. i probly wont be able to use ebay or anything for a long time to get some metal ones and the bushings on this thing look like theyre a lot bigger than the others. theyre most likely not though, its probly just the contrasting color of the black box and the white plastic

that actually looks pretty good.

that gearbox is pretty good, fires 400FPS out of the box =\, poly carbonate piston+piston head, metal spring guide, 7mm bushings(plastic), polycarbonate cylinder head, brass cylinder, clear plastic nozzle, XYT gears....

but then I don't think you have enough experience to install one of those let alone even putting a battery connector on it
