SiG 552 Handguard Pin

It finally happened. The stock one snapped. Was waiting for it to do that.

Now I need to replace it, but I can't seem to find a SiG 552 handguard pin. I did, however, see a G3 pin set. There's 4 different sizes in the set. I thought maybe since the hop-up is an appropriate fit inside a SiG 552, then maybe the handguard pins for a G3 would work too?

I didn't want to just purchase a pin set to figure out hey, it doesn't actually fit. Thought it may be wise to ask here first.

Just pulled the fore stock pin on my CA MP5A2 and tried it on my Sig 552. Sorry to report it is not a match. The Sig pin is just a bit longer and double the size.
