ACOG advice
 

Hello All,
i am thinking of getting an ACOG from Airsoftgi.com to go with a CQB M4.

Specifically, this one:

has anyone ordered from them before?
I saw a review of this ACOG and it looks pretty good, comments anyone?

Get the one from huang. It's already in country and you don't need to pay for silly shipping and tax or UPS brokerage fee.

Huang typically doesn't ship from his store. If you order from him, he has it shipped to you from his distributor China (for non-restricted items). It's only "in country" if you buy in person from his store or make arrangements to have his stock shipped, and then it costs more. Restricted items and AEGs he ships from his store. Otherwise, you're buying from China, not something in Canada.

I've ordered from AirsoftGI (one order), no trouble, but they insist on shipping with UPS so expect massive brokerage fees.

Why do you want that particular ACOG? Just for the illumination? It's not a particularly good deal, specially after UPS has it's way with you: for the price you could pick up one from Huang with full trademarks and the backup Docter Sight on top instead of iron sights, and it'll be already in Canada.


Considering he's in Brampton (according to profile), he should be able to get to TO and visit the store.

Most of his stuff, he has in store especially those kind of optic of scope... etc.. except a few rare stuff but still, from China is not that bad than from US with UPS though. I still prefer huang than airsoftGI with UPS.

I too prefer to deal with huang, but whether or not he has an optic in stock in his store or not is irrelevant. He doesn't ship that stuff from his store. It will be mailed from Dragon Red in China unless you make arrangements to have it shipped, then it costs more. It's listed in his sales thread. I've bought many "in stock" items from huang, and the only one that ever came directly from his store was a receiver. Otherwise, it came from China.

haha, you guys are all correct. Depends on my inventory, I may have it shipped either from toronto or china.

However, my shipment came in last week, so I have plenty of ACOGs. Five different models.
