Noob Question

I am looking at buying the DPMS M4A1 (Jing Gong Rebrand) off of velocityarms.ca and was wondering if the internals could handle a 9.6v battery without upgrading.

Thanks

You already made a thread similar to this, and everyone said just buy the G&G.

Its a much better AEG for essentially the same price. Many G&Gs come with 9.6 batteries, mine did, and it is working great.

EDIT: just checked velocity arms. You can get a G&G with a battery and a charger for less then that JG rebrand. It will run smoother and has a black upper.

but my question is would the jg be able to handle the 9.6v. And i am quite sure velocityarms.ca is out of stock for the gun u r talking about.

All a 9.6v battery does is run the installed motor at a faster rate than an 8.4v would, thereby increasing your rate of fire (ROF). It should handle it, but for how long, depends on what you shooting style is and the quailty of the parts JG put in that week.

yeah im not a crazy trigger happy player, i shoot more with bursts so i was just hoping that the jg's motor or gears could handle the increased rpm.

It's the piston and tappet plate I'd worry about.

Consider looking on other sites? Don't get me wrong, velocityarms is a great site, awesome prices and great service, but G&G cansoft guns are pretty widely available these days.
