Magpul PMAG
So I have been checking out the dark earth PMAGs, both the regular and the "Green Labels"
They are both "Dark Earth" but they seem to be different colours. I emailed ehobby but i just got dead air... Can anyone explain the difference? http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magpul-pt...rth-10pcs.html http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magpul-12...ark-earth.html |
The green labels are made out of a shit plastic and should be avoided.
The real Magpul PTS Pmags are INCREDIBLE... I highly recommend them. |

YouTube - YouTube - Magpul PTS PMAG Testing in Thailand but more importantly, are they different colours :P |
There have been many fixes/changes to each the 120 pmags and green label mags. I do believe one of the changes was the slight change to the colour tone specifically on the DE mags - though I can't be 100% sure of that.
What I can tell you is that because the green label mags are made of abs plastic, they have a very unattractive glossy surface. |

It's too bad the regular PMAGs only come in stupid midcap format. You'd think the good mag ("that your like will depend on in a big milsim game" to paraphrase that silly comparison video) would be more milsim/realcap/locap oriented.

i suppose if you really cared you could buy both the STAR 30 rounders and the magpul midcaps and switch the internals :P

True, true. It does seem a little strange as they do carry a hi cap. Maybe they are just a little slow with things.
Been waiting on that darn masada they have been promising :( |
wish there was a good brand PMAG hicap. Not the china clone stuff

well the china clones cant be all that bad. i mean from the video i posted, a car drove over them. the mags survived, but were non-functional. |
