Problem when firing auto...

So i brought my G&G CQB-R to a rifle range to test its accuracy, range etc. The gun shot alright in semi but not as well i wanted it to so i decided to mess around with auto.

When i was firing auto, i noticed it would dry fire after a few BBs. Then, i would switch it to semi auto and it would shoot fine. At other times, it would shoot decently in auto then some BBs would simply roll out of the barrel while im firing.....

Does anyone know what might be wrong with this gun?

Typically the BBs rolling out of the barrel means you have the hop up set to zero. I trust you have some hop up dialed in?

BBs not feeding well in full auto............... what mags are you using, does it happen to all your mags? Or you only have one? And how new is the mag? A fix could possibly be just lube in the right places, it sounds like your mag isn't feeding as fast as the gun wants it to.

More info would help others sort out what might be wrong.

If you're using the G&G hicap, that is probably the problem. My original (not cansoft) G&G M4 does the same thing, I think the hicap is just shitty. Midcaps work fine. I have heard from some people that they are actually really good hicaps, just not my experience.

sadly thats the only mag i have... i guess its time to order some mi caps!

is it maybe that you are forgeting to wind the mag while you are firing? that might be a cause as well wouldn't it.

the magasine is winded. As mentioned in my first post, it does the rolling out of barrel on auto, then when switched to semi, it fires perfectly....

I have the exact same gun and was fortunate to find this topic :) My gun fires fine in semi auto but dry fires a couple times in full auto. So should I get a mid-cap mag for this because I was really expecting a good full auto and semi auto gun, especially for CQB.

You should get mid-caps anyways so it's probably a good place to start.
