The black Kimber Warrior is a PGC kit, very solid beautiful finish, 9 ball outer, nova bushing and recoil rod. The gun has numerous internal upgrades.

The Kimber Desert Warrior is a Hurricane kit, I find this kit superior to PGC kit in fit and finish, and the PGC kit is top notch, so I'm pretty much saying the Hurricane kit is outstanding.

Wow, that Kimber Desert Warrior... I can't believe how beautiful that is. My only beef is that I think a black 3-hole trigger would look better than the round block style.

But absolutely outstanding job on both.

hattrick January 18th, 2010 15:06

Desgusting, I dont like the trigger on the tan one. The color works, the shape just doesn't look right to me.

scooby January 18th, 2010 15:08

Thats how the trigger is on real steel Desert Warrior, just trying to stay true to form on it. After seeing the real one putting a different trigger would look out of place.

scottyfox January 18th, 2010 15:10

That's outstanding.
How was the installation on the Hurricane kit?

skalnok January 18th, 2010 15:11

dude those are amazing.

Didn't know that! Well then, these are even more well done than I thought.

If you don't want the tan one, I know someone who might make a good home for it ;).

Danke January 18th, 2010 15:12

They are nice, did you build them yourself?

scooby January 18th, 2010 15:12

I found it pretty easy, everything fit so well, that I bet Illusion could install the Hurricane Kit blind folded like a Navy Seal.

ILLusion January 18th, 2010 15:15

LOL.

I have a couple of Hurricane kits here, and I gotta say, they did go together pretty easily. Most of the kits do. The hardest ones I've found are Guarder and Nova. Nova, just because it's tricky... and Guarder, because you pretty much had to mod everything just to get it to fit. What a headache.

hattrick January 18th, 2010 15:17

My nova kit went together in less than 30 minutes, didn't find anything too tricky...maybe I'm just that good ;)

juicy January 18th, 2010 15:23

Yum. Both of those are delish - I'd take either of those, any day - weird looking/non-realistic triggers or not.

Hey Scoob...this guy thinks they're delish...LOL. (reminds be of this old Jewish lady who did our prenatal class...kept saying "delish" and "yummy" HAHAHAHAHA).

Cool builds...like the desert warrior, black trigger is nice. Notice you didn't wipe all your spooge off of it though...

KILLvino January 18th, 2010 15:28

I've only had it happen to installs with the MEU so far, regardless of which kit. The problem results in the hammer not getting a full lock up with the sear.
