A short could act like that,I had the same problem on an AEG. 2 or 3 cycles, then I had to wait 1 min to be able to cycle again.

Are the battery/motor/wire/fuse hot ?

But now my burst mode is more like 6 - 7 rounds than 3. I guess that would be the cutoff lever.

I plug the battery, program the unit, try to shoot in any fire mode, the motor compress the spring till 90%-95% but stop there, without trying to compress more. theres no heat on...
