You mentioned about recoil buffers? Hmm im not sure what that is, but i have a recoil rod, recoild spring and the bushing. They all look like this:
Do you think this is causing me problems?
Also, any ideas on the double feed issue?

Here's a picture of the MEU's (short length) guide rod.
The rubber thing on the end of the spring is a recoil buffer, rubber, whatever you want to call it. You should have one on there... I've never seen or heard somebody run a GBB without it. If you still have your stock guide rod with you there'll be a rubber washer that looks exactly like the one in my picture. Take it off and put it on your upgraded guide rod and fire off a few shots. See if that does anything.
The purpose of the rubber is to prevent your spring plug from smashing onto your guide rod and dampening the shock that your hop up unit takes from the blowback action.
Edit: And yeah, use the AS nozzle since you have the upgraded spring.
