Yes but no.
You will eventually have to change the piston and gears.
But you will have to change theses what ever the batteries you use. SRC guns have that little flaw, they use brass for gear axles and they break consistently before 10 000 rnd. The piston is just because your gun will shoot VERY fast, and if you get a jam, it will shread your piston. At least it is the cheapest part to change.
