I changed it to metal because the front of the plastic slide began to cracked. This is mad because the snap of the TM G18C was really good! Now with the metal one, I lost about 5-10% of the snap, but still accurate. I have needed to rack the slide during 5-6 min. like in full auto, to get it smooth. The stock plastic barrel don't fit, I had to installed the metal one that comes with the slide.

is is necessary to change the hammer spring that comes with the recoil spring 150%?, what change the hammer spring in the recoil operation??
