I would fire BBs (BB Bastard .20 and TSD .25) and they were jamming in the barrel right at the hopup/entrance. Pulled out the bolt and noticed it was FUBAR.
Took the NPAS off to see if I could wind the brass part back up to the steel, took it apart and the inside came out and looked like that.
Maybe I got a lemon, maybe it was installed improperly to begin with. Honestly dont know

dude i got one that did almost the same thing, but the rod for the piston was mangled. i replaced it a few days later.
