Argh....I'm so f***ing dumb....
I went and googled the procedre for field stripping a G36C and I notice that the wires have a fuse between them. I look at my gun and realize that I didn't have one.
Then I remember that when I first got the gun, something had popped out and I couldn't find it. It seemed to work fine, so I forgot about it. I think that I just put the connectors on top of each other instead of connecting them with the fuse.
