It's only 8mm so it won't affect anything for being shorter. Most AKs use the 455mm long barrel so there shouldn't be any issues.
Quick tip: if the end of the inner barrel rattle/move around within the outer barrel, wrap a bit of tape around the end so it's snug. This will help with consistency.
