Any ideas where to look for this connector other than to buy a whole new headset and take it apart?

A trrs is a Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleever connector- standard stereo headphone plugs are called Tip-Ring-Sleeve (or trs) connectors. Does that help?
When i'm saying "building a new set" it just means that I'm planning on building something custom: fair enough?
You'd expect people to be a little more competent in putting together a few dots, but I guess I'll have to spell it out:
Looking for 7.5mm trrs connector to build new headset (does it really matter what kind of headset? it's a headset that does the same function)
looked online for the connector: didn't find any available and the ones that I did find (which were still out of stock) was 14 bucks a piece.
This is a request to ask people for advice on where to find one said 7.5mm trrs.
One possible solution known is to buy a new item with the connector in question built onto it, but idea is too costly.
