Here is my setup. I use wrapped paracord through the molle webbing for the attachment. I'm 6'1" and when I wear the rig the lower belt falls about 1 inch below the molle straps. The paracord provides the connection but remains flexible and comfortable when pressed against your back by a full bladder.
Current setup holds 10 AK mags/15 AR mags, 3 pistol mags, water, BB's, maps & admin stuff.
