Ares isn't really garbage. The just tend to use their own parts that when something breaks it can be an exercise in frustration to replace.
Everything from every brand breaks down or fails so that can be a real concern.
They have a distributor here in Canada now who say they'll hold parts but it's still wait and see.
I don't swap springs in my Ares SR-25, but pulling the spring out before you open the mech box sure makes that less of a hassle!
