My only problem with this type of setup, is my breath usually will come back up through the openings between the shemagh and my nose. That puts warm air on my goggles and then the fogging happens.
It there is a larger space below, that may take care of that. Temp will also play a large part in this.
Have you though of using a metal mesh the same way? Would be more breathable.
