1) I had a customer disassemble his KWA hopup and he lost the spring that makes it return to zero. He over hopped his gun and when he tried to reduce it the lack of spring stopped the hopup from backing off.
He brought the gun to me complaining that the gun was shooting too weak. I took the hopup apart, found the missing item and replaced it. gun worked perfectly after that.
If you lost that spring and put too much hop on your gun (i.e. it shoots Up) then it may be stuck there.
2) I have had guns shoot up every shot and it was usually the bb catching the flash hider on the way out. Or a burr at the end of the inner barrel.
