I agree that clearing rooms in CQB normal rifles you don't have to drop the barrels none of my teammates ever did

And I don't like gas guns. The smell bothers me the mags are incredibly expensive and even if I carry 10 MP7 gas mags I can get two midcap AEG mags that cost less than a tenth of the price and carry the same ammo not to mention my team mainly uses m4 magazine compatible weapons.

ATM I've narrowed it down to between the A&K Masada and XCR-L. One of my teammates has the XCR-L and it has a good quality feel to it and shoots really well the performance is really good out of the box and I like the crane stock for easy battery storage and switching. The Masada style though to me is beautiful the internals are decent and easily upgradable, unfortunately I have had the pleasure to shoot one I know people in my city who have owned one for two years and never had to do any real upgrades.

Is there any incite as to which will help me make a better decision between these two weapons? Maybe someone has owned both?

BTW I would rather not buy a used weapons as the quality is not always reliable or assured
