Dummy cord the pin to the pouch you carry the grenade in.
Get an arm's length of paracord, gut it, tie one end to the grenade pouch (one of the PALS strips on the back works), tie the other end to the pin, secure it to the pin with duct electrical tape so it doesn't slip off.
