I kinda knew you were going to pick on the externals. So you can see the differences now. You didn't want VFC because of the higher price, but you get great externals from VFC.

If the blemishes are really bad, get the gun exchanged asap! G&G is not bad, but it should not be terrible as you are describing it.

The trigger guard and grips are an easy fix. The stock ones all suck, I upgraded all my M4's and DMRs to Magpul. The stock guard will cut your fingers in time. The Magpul is Very very comfy.

The dust cover is also an issue on my VFC, but that is also an easy fix. It is the thin metal plate that has a tiny bend on the inside for the catch on the gear box. You can bent it slightly more so it can catch better. Also the catch on the gear box is pot metal and wear out, that is normal. Just replace it.
