Although you don't like SCARs if you hand seen a VFC SSR you would have bought one. The receiver is a one piece cnc alum and hard anodized whereas your SR25 is painted pot metal. Also my SSR is completely and I reach beyond 250 ft easily.

The bolt catch / hop up cover is better than any on the SR25. When you release it the sound is amazing.
