It depends on the rail: some systems (like the Madbull DD rails) come with their own special barrel nut; others, like King Arms RAS, sometimes come with a barrel nut while other rails rely on the user having the correct delta ring/barrel nut on their gun. A delta ring or barrel nut are cheap and easily replaced as long as the threads on your gun (what brand is it? someone said ICS?) are compatible.
I see there's a ring with fake barrel nut "teeth" on it so that may be usable for certains rails (like a normal KAC RIS handguard etc).

You can remove the front sight and take the rings off. Don't cut them off. You'll have to remove the sight to put on the new barrel nut anyway.
There should be two pins in the front sight, below the barrel: just tap those out with a punch. Make sure you push them out in the right direction if they're directional (if they're roll pins one side might be tapered, that side goes out last; or a solid pin might have ridges on one end, that end goes out first).
Check for screws and stuff too, under the front sight (usually under where the sling swivel is mounted)

Also, if I need to take off my front sight, how do I do that?

I have looked in videos and I saw people taking some pins out of the two bottom holes, but mine didn't come with any in:
