I did mod an AEG barrel to fit.
Aluminum are easy to do, since they are really soft.
Steel can also be done with more work, a good metal saw and file set.
Or a mill.
You need one that has the chamber molded in the barrel, and uses molded tabs, not set screws to keep it aligned.
You "could" do it with a setscrew one, but then you would have to cut the hop-up chamber flush with the plate, and drill/tap two holes to re-install set screws to hold it aligned.
Or really tighten your barrel nut, with metal shims, not a o-ring like stock WEs.
