they do tend to shift around in the hop up as more rounds go through the gun. The mnub in my p90 ended up smushed all in the front end of the window causing my overhop last year at nightfall.
Having the patch glued down to prevent any sort of shifting is insurance.

I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
