Man thats a really wierd, and with respect, kinda ugly bipod to begin with.
Do you have more pics? It seems the base mounting unit is the part thats off? Take pics with them off and placed side to side comparing critical features of both the pivot and the legs if they can be disassembled.
From this photo, although it may be an angle issue, the top pivot looks more raised than the bottom pivot. That or the legs are not bent the same in chiral terms.
